This site is built so that as little data as possible is created when you visit it.
No cookies, on principle. Not “only necessary ones”, but none at all. That is why there is no cookie banner either: there is simply nothing to agree to.
No tracking, no analytics tools, no ad networks. No external resources: no web fonts, no scripts or images from third parties.
john-sear.net runs on a rented server from Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). It is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) as an upstream service; Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
This statement also covers the project sites jfra.me (J•Frame) and jcms.eu (J•CMS), which link here. Both are plain information pages without cookies, tracking or external resources. They are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany) and delivered directly from there, without Cloudflare. The host processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time, requested page) in order to deliver the pages and keep them secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
If you write to johnny@john-sear.net, I process your message and address only in order to reply, and delete them once they are no longer needed. The mailbox is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany).
